Gas Analysis Workshop 2012 Milan

Workshop on Sampling, Detection and Quantification of Impurities in Gases from Thermochemical Biomass Conversion Processes - “Gas Analysis Workshop”

Following the successful workshop on tar analysis 2011 another workshop was held in June 2012 at the EU biomass conference in Milan, Italy. The topic was boradened onto gas analysis in more general. The interest was high as so were the discussions. Despite many existing approaches for process gas analysis as well as for a detailed analysis of product gases ans synthesis gases there are still many open questions and especially a non distributed knowledge.

These workshops and follow up action such as webinars aim to have more people seriously involved into the analytical debate and to build a profound basis of knowledge to advance in thermochemical conversion.
